Trivalent Vaccine aginst Streptococcosis and Lactococcosis in Fish

Streptococcosis and Lactococcosis associated with L. garvieae, Indian Streptococcus and Streptococcus agalactiae are among the most important and common diseases known in the country’s aquaculture farms that cause tens of billions of tomans of damage to the aquaculture industry every year. Due to the economic importance and spread of these diseases in different parts of the country and the lack of success in treating sick fish and on the other hand due to the common diseases mentioned, vaccination is the best way to prevent them.

• Garovac is an effective vaccine against Streptococcosis and Lactococcosis, which has been prepared from the farms using the virulent strains of garvieae, Indian Streptococcus and Streptococcus agalactiae.
• The survival rate in vaccinated fish infected with these diseases is up to 70% higher than the survival rate in unvaccinated fish.

• Shake the bottle for consumption.
• For bathing and immersion method, dissolve one liter of vaccine in nine liters of water and up to 100 kg of fish can be vaccinated with this amount.
• To vaccinate fish, inoculate the fish for 60 to 120 seconds in the vaccine bath with optimal aeration.
• Depending on the species of fish and water temperature, feeding should be stopped at least 1 to 2 days before vaccination.
• Vaccination should be done at a temperature close to the proper growth temperature of the fish. For trout, for example, a temperature of 11-15 degrees Celsius is a proper.
• Stop vaccinating sick or treated fish during the last two weeks or under treatment.
• After vaccination, transfer the fish to a storage pond with sufficient oxygen.
• It is necessary to repeat vaccination 2 months after the first stage.
• Vaccinate fish with weight above than 3 grams.
• Keep it away from light and out of reach of children. Prevent the vaccine from freezing.
